Ms. Fontaine entered the financial services industry in 1980 as an agent for this organization in Valdosta, Georgia. In 1984 she relocated to Ocala and received her CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter)* designation. In 1987 she earned her ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant)* designation and in 1989 she received her CFP® designation.

Jane completed the Retirement Planning Educational Specialization in the Advanced Studies Program from The College of Financial Planning in 1991 and received her Masters degree in Financial Services from the College for Financial Planning in 1992.  Recently, Jane completed the course work for a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning.

She has been designated as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. In 2002 she was recognized as the Southeast Regional Honor Agent for AXA Advisors.

Jane has been a Life and Qualifying Member of the industry standard Million Dollar Round Table for twenty-six consecutive years. She maintains memberships in the National, Florida, and Ocala Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors; the National Association of Estate Planners; the American Society of CLU and ChFC; The Financial Planning Association (FPA); the International Society for Retirement and Life Planning; The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU); and Certified Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) from The American College.
